This is a 4-day children's class that teaches how to center clay on the wheel and how to create forms on the potter's wheel such as mugs, bowls, plates and vases. This class will feature two sessions of wheel throwing, one session on trimming and attaching and one session on glazing. Ages 10 and up is recommended. This class is limited to 6 students. When registering, please write the child's first name and age.
The class will be held on June 15-18th at Nathan's studio in the Creative Artists' Studios of Ames located at 130 South Sheldon Suite 102, Ames, IA from 10am-12pm. Park in the lot north of the building and enter through the north doors down a flight of stairs.
