This month-long class features in-depth demonstrations and teaches you the following: how to center clay on the wheel and how to create forms on the potter's wheel such as mugs, bowls, plates and vases. This class will feature two sessions of wheel throwing, one session on trimming and attaching and one session on glazing. All skill levels welcome. In-studio classes are limited to 6 people to allow plenty of one on one guidance on the wheel.
The class will be held at Nathan's studio in the Creative Artists' Studios of Ames located at 130 South Sheldon Suite 102, Ames, IA from 6pm-8pm. Park in the lot north of the building and enter through the north doors down a flight of stairs.
