This one-time workshop features in-depth demonstrations and teaches you the following: how to center clay on the wheel and how to create a small form (cups, bowls or plates). This class is all about the experience and learning how to work with the pottery wheel — and having fun. All skill levels welcome. In-studio classes are limited to 6 people to allow plenty of one on one guidance on the wheel. This class can be an add on to the November month-long class if desired.
The class will be held at Nathan's studio in the Creative Artists' Studios of Ames located at 130 South Sheldon Suite 102, Ames, IA from 6-8pm. Park in the lot north of the building and enter through the north doors down a flight of stairs.
