Introduction to Wheel Throwing - Private Class for a Holiday Gift
This workshop is perfect to gift for the holidays and features in-depth demonstrations and teaches you the following: how to center clay on the wheel and how to create a small form (cups, bowls or plates). This class is all about the experience and learning how to work with the pottery wheel — and having fun. All skill levels welcome. Upon checkout, please write the name(s) of who received the gift in the comments and to arrange a time that works, have the attendees send an email to [email protected] with some preferential dates and times. Weekdays are limited to 6-8pm and weekends from 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm.
Private classes are limited to 4 people per session to allow plenty of one on one guidance on the wheel.
The class will be held at Nathan's studio in the Creative Artists' Studios of Ames located at 130 South Sheldon Suite 102, Ames, IA from 6-8pm. Park in the lot north of the building and enter through the north doors down a flight of stairs.
