Experience Clay on "Wheels"

Nathan & Clay brings the pottery experience to you! This is an all-inclusive experience, where the only thing needed is yourself and clothes to get a little messy in. A recipient of the Artist Catalyst Grant from the Iowa Arts Council, Nathan & Clay brings 8 portable pottery wheels, stools, clay, tools, buckets, glazes and a unique clay experience to central Iowa. Pieces will be fired and returned to where students took the class for pick-up 3-4 weeks following the class/workshop/event. Click the "Contact" tab to get a quote.

How it works:

You gather your friends, family or organization to learn pottery together and I bring 8 portable wheels, tools, clay and equipment needed to create the artwork.

After all pieces are created, I transport them back to my studio to bisque-fire and glaze them with your color of choice.

Pieces are placed into the kiln and returned to the group finished ready to be used.
